Green Lake Real Estate and Open Houses – January 8th & 9th

Is this the year of recovery?  Or more doom and gloom…you decide!  But I will tell you that in north Seattle (MLS areas 705 and 710 including just about everywhere from Fremont to Northgate, Ballard to U-District), 62 new residential and condominium for-sale listings have hit the market since January 1st.  That might sound horribly bad…until you pair it with the fact that in that same area, 19 homes have gone to “pending” status (someone’s buying them but they haven’t closed escrow yet) since January 1st.  That means 19 homes received an offer this week that got accepted.  Keep it up, folks.

With so many new homes on the market, you might just be out taking a stroll this weekend.  Unless the weathermen are right and we get snow, which shouldn’t scare you off anyway.  So while you’re out, why not stop and take a look at this weekend’s local open houses in Green Lake?

Remember, just click the image of the map to be taken to a Google Maps page where you can view more information about the homes.

  1. It’s actually pretty easy, although it took me awhile to figure out. You have to be logged in to a google account, and there’s a “My Maps” function within Google Maps. You can find addresses or locations, place your own markers on the maps, and then write anything you want to write about the places you’re marking. Then when you’re done, you can save that map and Google provides you with a link for it.

  2. Hi Sarah

Great job with the open house map. How did you create it?
