A mile and a half of nothing but amazing cars will line Greenwood Ave on June 25th for the annual Greenwood Car Show. This is one of my favorite events of the year – full of classic cars, music, food, and even hydroplanes.
If you still haven’t registered your own car for the event, get it done – the cost is $25 for pre-registration (cars/trucks) and $15 for motorcycles. An additional $5 charge applies if you register the day of the event.
For those that just want to see the cars, come on out – its free to attend, although there will be a canned food drive going on to benefit the Greenwood Food Bank. And for those that are trying to get around the neighborhood that day, take a wide detour – Greenwood Avenue will be closed down for almost the entire day, and parking gets extremely tight in the surrounding neighborhoods.
If you’re a craft beer lover like I am, check out the Naked City Beer Can Derby I wrote about recently, happening at the same time.
