Pay no attention to the fact that this is my fourth post in a row that’s alcohol-related. I swear, it just happens that way – something about winter coming to an end and spring beginning? Whatever the reason, there are a lot of good beer and wine events coming up and I feel it is my duty to tell you about every single one of them.
Which brings me to Hop Scotch, the spring Beer & Scotch festival held each year at Fremont Studios (awesome location, by the way). This year, the festival falls on March 30th and 31st, and tickets are already on sale (click here to purchase online). General admission is $30, plus another $15 if you want to do the scotch sampler (the general admission covers beer/wine tasting only). General admission gives you five tastes. For the DD, you can purchase a non-tasting ticket for $15 that covers water/soda.
Hop Scotch benefits the Seattle International Film Festival. I personally went Hop Scotch last year and found it to be one of the most fun beer tastings I attended.
