Phinney Gallery Tasty Celebrates 2 Years this Friday During Art Walk

Phinney Ridge art gallery Tasty, at 7513 Greenwood Ave N, will celebrate their 2nd anniversary this Friday during the monthly Art Up Art Walk.  And true to their eclectic nature, this month’s show at Tasty is called “A Strange Life” and features local artists’ interpretations of “peculiar.”

The show opens at 6 p.m. on March 9th, and features the work of Vern White, Amy Weber, Bjorn (Raw Garbage), Deviant Decor, Don Deleva, Jarrod Eastman, Jenny Dayton, Jody Joldersma, Joe Vollan, Justin Hillgrove (imps and monsters), Kurtis Rykovich, and Rob Schwartz. You’ll be sure to recognize it from the giant wooden man that’s be erected in the front window.

Up the street at the same Art Walk, Bherd Studios  at 8537 Greenwood Ave N is celebrating an anniversary too – 5 years of exhibits with them.  Their show, “Look Up Here,” features the works of 33 local artists that they feel have made a big impression during their time in business.  A matching book, “Look Up Here,” will be available for purchase with 150 pages of works from these local artists.
