I admit it – I’m addicted to politics. Most people are whining about how soon it will all be over, I’m drinking up every sip of the gaffs, pollsters, and candidate’s wives that the news can throw at me. But I don’t want to be a hermit about it and hide out until November, either.
Lucky for me, several locations in north Seattle have us covered for some good old social watching of the presidential debates. The first debate is tomorrow (Wednesday, October 3rd) at 6 p.m. Here’s where you can view the debates, and grab a cold one:
Naked City Brewery and Taphouse -8564 Greenwood Ave North (this is a good spot, as they have a HUGE projection screen)
Urban Family Public House – 5329 Ballard Ave NW (also serving up an array of sour beer, perhaps to set the mood?)
The debates seem to be a popular topic, so if you’re curious about it in your own neighborhood you may want to call up your favorite local spots and see if they’re going to air them. And above all, get your butt in gear and register to vote!!
