The sun came out today just in time, as Roosevelt’s Bull Moose Festival begins at 11a.m. today, Saturday July 23rd.
The festival takes place on 64th Street between Roosevelt Way NE and 9th Ave NE (the street is closed down). All day there will be live entertainment, street booths from local businesses, and local food.
This evening, enjoy the pub crawl part of the festivities with a “battle of the bands” set up at various locations. The first band, Beehive Juggernauts, will be going on at Pies & Pints at 8:30 p.m. Other participating locations for the pub crawl include The Scarlet Tree, Atlantic Crossing, and Teddy’s Tavern. The bars are all donating a portion of their drink sales tonight to the Roosevelt Neighborhood Association, so they can continue to keep events like this going.
