Help a few north Seattle neighborhoods win $10,000

Umpqua Bank has wasted no time becoming part of the community in the several new locations that it has opened.  They’re so excited about the communities, in fact, that they are offering $10,000 to each of the top three communities that YOU vote for to be used towards a community project.

Ten neighborhoods that Umpqua operates in are up for the vote, including the new locations in Phinney Ridge and Roosevelt.  The other locations are: Downtown Seattle, Westlake, Eastlake, Magnolia, Capitol Hill, West Seattle, Queen Anne, and Bellevue (and come on, we can’t let Bellevue win, right?).

There are a few ways to vote, and each involve “showing your love”  for the neighborhood of your choice in a note saying “I heart _____________.”  You can either do this in person at your local branch, send a text message to 99158 (Standard rates apply – begin your text with PHINNEY for Phinney Ridge or ROOSEVELT for, duh, Roosevelt.), or by writing a note on their Facebook Page.

Umpqua keeps a (somewhat) up-to-date tally on their website, and so far the leading three locations are Magnolia, Roosevelt and Bellevue.  Phinney Ridge is coming in 4th so show them some love!

The top ten businesses individually named will receive a $1000 prize, so make sure to highlight your local favorite spots.  Voting ends on December 15th.
