Can you eat a lot of chicken wings? It might score you a free trip to Buffalo!

Can you eat a lot of chicken wings?  If so, get yourself into the nearest Wing Dome beginning tomorrow, August 9th, and start munching.  Between August 9th and 12th, whoever eats the most purchased chicken wings from each Wing Dome location will be qualified to participate in the Road to Buffalo final championship.

You don’t have to consume them all at once – each time you go in, let them know you’re participating in the Road to Buffalo event – they’ll give you an entry form and an employee will sign off that you really have eaten the wings.

The winner from each location, including our very own location on Greenwood Avenue, will be part of the Wing-Off on Thursday, August 18th hosted by Q13’s Lily Jang (ps, I LOVE her!).  From there, whoever consumes the most wings in 5 minutes wins a trip to compete in the Superbowl of wings in Buffalo, New York! 

Oh, you also get the title “Lord of the Wings.”  But I wouldn’t go around bragging about that. 🙂

March Madness prizes at Wing Dome!

With March Madness JUST around the corner, you’re probably working through the numbers and players, figuring out who is more likely to win and filling out your bracket very methodically.  Or, like me, you’re choosing based on who has the cutest mascot (hey – I actually won one year). 

In either case, fill out a free bracket with The Wing Dome there for a chance to win a 42″ TV & Playstation 3 sports package (the highest number of points wins).  Also, beat the Wingman’s score and win a $15 Wing Dome gift card.

You have from today until 8 a.m. on March 17th to register and fill out your bracket online.  Get to it!

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s SUPERBOWL!

And where better to yell out “Go <insert team here>!” than at your local north Seattle bars and restaurants.  Here’s a short rundown of specials you’ll find this Sunday:

Offering Happy Hour all day.  $5 house margaritas, $4 wings, $3 Dos Equis, and $2 chips and salsa.  A few other deals too, and there’s several TV’s and lots of space.

Free appetizers during the game.  Smaller bar area, but delicious food!

Wing Dome

Order wings to go and take ’em home.  When you pick them up on Superbowl Sunday you’ll get a coupon for 1/2 off any burger on your next visit. 

Green Lake Bar & Grill

Green Lake Bar & Grill is advertising food and drink specials during the game on their Facebook page, but hasn’t yet disclosed what the specials will be.

Did you enjoy a Blue Crush last weekend?

If you visited The Wing Dome in Greenwood last weekend for the Seahawks’ *unbelievable* win against The Saints, then you probably enjoyed their drink special of the day, the Blue Crush.

This Sunday, get an early start on the Seahawks/Bears game, as The Wing Dome will be open at 9:45 am to get you in and ready for the big game.  Between 10 and 11am, get a free order of popcorn chicken when you dine in! (one per table)

Also, The Wing Dome brings a new drink to the table for this one.  We’re stepping up from the Blue Crush, to the game special The Firebird.   You might need some guts for this one – it contains hot coffee and a shot of Fireball Whiskey, garnished with whipped cream, a splash of cherry juice, and – get this – crushed fireballs.  Just $5!
